We began the planning for 2010, and while some things are still tentative, I think we are off the a great start. Hopefully we will have all of the tentative items nailed down by our next meeting at the DQ on March 13 at 5:30 PM. We Have tentatively decided on a light blue color for the tee shirts for this year. Will have more information and begin collecting sizes along with dues at the next meeting.

Here is a list of things we have penciled in for 2010. The tentative ones are marked with an asterisk*.

1. We voted to make 4 Pete’s Sake the charity we will raise money for this year.* (I have contacted 4 Pete’s Sake to make sure we can use their name and they don’t have a problem with us raising money for them.)
2. May 21 – May 23  Cruise to Downer’s Grove.*
3. June 5 – Car Wash
4. July 17 – Car Wash
5. July 24 – Jones’s  Car Show
6. August 7 – Car Wash
7. August 21 – Spring Green car show
8. September 4 – 5 – Great Lakes Drag Way car show and drag racing
9. October 16 – Fall Cruise*
10. November 13 – Last meeting of year. Bowling alley for pizza.*

If 4 Pete’s Sake gives us an OK to raise money for them, we will try to do three cruiser nights at Rumble Seats in Spring Green plus possibly do one of the car washes at the Spring Green fire station. I will also inquire about the club being able to use the American Legion’s brat stand in Plain for one weekend in September. They allow charitable groups to use it to raise funds.
