2010 2SS/RS SS Camaro |

| I think most of us have been eagerly awaiting the new Camaro every since the concept was shown a few years ago. When I first saw that concept I knew if GM did things right, and made it that way, I would be one of the first in line to get one. To my delight the body came remarkably close to the concept. When the first Transformers movie came out I was only more sure I wanted one. I was a bit concerned that GM waited to long to release it to the public but after they worked out the bugs and kinks what came out is nothing less then amazing. I knew for sure I wasn't intersted in a V6 car even though 304 horsepower is more then the big blocks of the late 60's and early 70's. But no car guy wants a V6! When I was notified via email that an SS was coming within 500 miles of me (and in Inferno Orange no less), I knew I was buying it. When I learned it was a 2SS with the RS package and every option, that just made it more appealing. In my research I even found out that there are some options that one can only get in the inferno orange color and are not available on any other color scheme. And this car has them! This is definitley a car that I love having in my collection. Of course new cars ride nice and work good as a rule but this car in my opinion is one of the best engineered cars ever made. The handling, performance, and fit and quietness of this car is nothing short of remarkable. MPG is estimated at 25 which isn't bad for 426 horsepower and 420 ft lbs of torque. ONSTAR is something I really think is over rated and I would rather not have but I like the bluetooth and am/fm/cd player. This car has XM which to be honest I only have it on 94.9 WOLX and that is good eough for me. I am quite excited with this addition and look to have it for many years to come. |

This is a boyhood dream come true. I saw one when I was 15 years old and knew I needed one of those. And a mere 28 years later, when I was 33, I purchased it in 1999. In addition to being a dream car, it had very low mileage. |
I purchased the vette one day while with my mother when she was looking to trade cars. This car was on the lot and at the time I wasn't really looking for a car but I saw the price and knew I had to have it. I only had pick-ups at the time so having a nice car seemed like a good thing. This car is a lot of fun and is basically all original. I have enjoyed this car a lot and am intending on doing a light restoration on it and keeping it in my collection with very little useage. | ||||

My 83 Mercury Zephyer Z-7 came about by chance. I used to drag race Ford Fairmont Futura bodies in the late 80's early 90's so I was very familiar with the body style. I was looking to purchase a car that had a back seat and a trunk since all of my other rides are either sports cars or pickups. A friend of mine was watching a car that an older person had owned but his family had taken away his driving liscense because of health and safety concerns. The Zephyr was orignally purchased in Colorado by this person and only had 32,012 actual miles and never saw winter conditions. This friend of mine lives in Minnesota and we happen to be at the same place one day so I said to him I was looking for a car with a back seat and trunk and I said I really wouldn't mind finding a Ford Fairmont again. He replied, "Well, I don't have a Fairmont but I have a Mercury in the same body style. This got my attention right away, so a couple of days later I drove to his place in Minnesota and crawled all over and under the car. To my delight this car was in really good condition (except, I knew by examining the body why the owner's family thought driving was not a good thing for this person). The car had dents and scrapes from one end to the other but was rust free. The dents and scrapes were not deep but plentiful none the less. I purchased the car and with some help from some friends, we smoothed out the dents and took it to Maaco for a quickie inexpensive paint job. The car was a rather interesting color of light beige and an avocado green/ gold two tone. (I actually have a better way of describing of describing the original color combination but since this is a family site I won't say it.) This car goes through changes most winters during the off time. Some time very minor, very subtle, changes and sometimes quite visual changes. This is a car that if you see it at a an event or me cruising it, you should come up and actually see how nice of shape it is. As you can tell by the color, the name "Dandy Lion" fits, This name is credited to Ivan's mother who said the car looks like a dandelion. |

A personal note about my cars in general is I really enjoy and like each one a lot. I am not a one brand kind of person but rather like such a wide varity of cars. I can't really say I have a favorite because each one of them is my favorite. I guess I would feel very bad if I sold off one because each one is like my family. |
