Dennis' Car
1964 Falcon Sprint

Dennis lives in Spring Green with his wife Doris. He recently retired and does part-time work as a web designer an IT consultant. This makes the second retirement for Dennis who retired from the US Navy as a chief petty officer in 1979 after serving 20 years.

Dennis and Doris have seven children, eight grandchildren, and two greatgrandchildren.

The first new car that Dennis purchased was a 1964 Falcon Sprint convertible. He purchased it in October of 1963 while stationed at the Naval training center in San Francisco. The car made the trip to Ethipoia with Dennis in 1964 when he was transferred to the naval communications station in Asmara, Ethipoia (now Eritrea). Dennis sold the car to a fellow sailor when he left Ethiopia and always regretted the sale.

So in 2005 Dennis located a Sprint convertible in Colorado. He flew out to check the car and purchased it and had it shipped to Spring Green. As the pictures on this page show, the car has undergone a lot of restoration.
